Kim Victoria Cattrall is an English-Canadian actor born on August 21st 1956. Her most well-known part was Samantha Jones, in the HBO show Sex and the City. Sex and the City earned the actress five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. In 2002, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. The same character was played by her in the film Sex and the City 2008 as well as Sex and the City 2 2010. Her most prominent role includes Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the'80s. Kim Cattrall's performance in the HBO TV comedy Sex & the City is the most memorable. Cattrall is a well-known actress, has credited her portrayal of Samantha Jones as a career-defining role. The show not only increased her popularity amongst the national viewers, but also helped make an international celebrity, bringing an immense amount of recognition and fame. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. The most well-known role she played was in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. In the year 1960, the film was awarded an Oscar along with the Golden Palm by the Cannes Film Festival. The film also had critical and commercial success. Before she began her acting career, she was the Swedish fashion model. She was later crowned her first Miss Sweden contest. Following her move in the US she started performing in a variety of films and playing minor characters. Her debut film role was in the role of Venusian in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. In the following year, after appearing on screen in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of the Most Promising Youngcomer.
